APEKS

About Apeks

A specialist tissue culture laboratory with over three decades of experience supplying certified planting material to commercial growers across Europe.

Our Story

Apeks was founded in 1992 as a small tissue culture laboratory specializing in carnation propagation. Over the following decades, we expanded methodically — adding industrial crops in 2005, and berries and fruit trees in 2012. Along the way, we began developing proprietary varieties tailored to the specific demands of European commercial growers.

Today, our laboratory produces over 400,000 plants annually. We maintain strict quality protocols at every stage — from explant selection and sterilization through multiplication, rooting, and acclimatization. Our new facility in Slovakia brings production closer to our core EU markets, reducing transit times and enabling direct local support.
